Uniforms at School

The school is a place of great importance because we consider it our second home. We know that our parents teach us the first words and values, but in school is the place to absorb knowledge that will serve us in the future. Each school has its rules and a major is to use uniform. Although there are many parents and teachers agree on use uniform , there are people who only see the disadvantages about it.

Opponents  using uniform is going against the individuality of people. Many young people express their personality through the clothes they wear . Uniforms prohibit their expression and the freedom to choose the clothes they want to use. Schools should help students to think about freedom of expression and opinion. On the contrary, some people said that wearing uniform helps students to feel identified with the school and to feel proud of where they study.Also, it helps students are not distracted by aspects of fashion because it also means spending money.

Opponents maintain that using uniform is that students feel limited because they can not make any trouble using the uniform because once people see these acts, identify and warn the school about their actions and after that there are problems.However,using uniform is to avoid discrimination because they all look the same, it helps to eliminate comparisons and social pressures and  it promotes discipline because students have to  follow school rules.

In conclusion, using uniform has its advantages and disadvantages but in my opinion, using uniform helps to be discipline,feel identify with the school and the most importantly prevents discrimination.
